Our mission is to provide safe, effective, CrossFit training to the men and women of the USCG Sitka Air Station and other USCG units around the Sitka area.

We provide free, CrossFit training by Level I coaches to help USCG members and their dependents meet their fitness goals.  No matter your level of health and fitness, we can assist you in achieving your fitness goals.

Please see the main page for the WOD (Workout of the Day). You will also see links to more information on CrossFit, scaled WODS, exercise demos and other affiliates.

All participation in Big Iron CrossFit programming is voluntary and scalable.  The goal of our WODs is to challenge you at your current level of fitness and bring you to a higher level of personal performance safely.  We ask that you understand your limits when engaging in our programming and check your ego at the door.  However, we also ask that when we say “3-2-1 GO!” you give us everything you’ve got.

There is typically a trainer available from 0600-0700, 1130-1230, and 1630-1730 Monday through Friday.  If you have any questions or would like to schedule training with one of our coaches, please contact us at bigironcrossfit@gmail.com.
